The bride-elect is a graduate of Bonita High in Chula Vista. She is the sister of Chad Dodson of National City and Josh Dodson of Bonita.
The groom-elect is the brother of Sean Norton of Valencia and the grandson of Roger and Elaine Norton of Valencia, Sandra Clinton of Santa Clarita and Harry Clinton of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. He is a graduate of William S. Hart High School in Newhall and is working towards his Master's at Wake Forest University.
The couple met while attending the University of California, Santa Barbara and now live and work in Charlotte, N.C.
The proposal was made in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
The bride-elect is an event planner and the groom-elect is an associate at Wachovia in Institutional Investor Management.
The couple plan a summer 2010 wedding.
