The bride-elect is the sister of Katie Boley of Myrtle Beach, South Caroline and the granddaughter of Carl and Jody Davidson of Odessa, Texas and Bill and Ruth Summers of Newhall.
She is a 2005 graduate of Valencia High School and is a nursing student at Cypress College.
She currently works as in intern at St. Mary's Hospital in Long Beach.
The groom-elect is the son of Jake and Lisa Jacobs of Marysville, Wash.
He is the brother of Emily, Jenny and Sarah Jacobs of Washington state.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Don Pippenger of New Mexico and Nancy Goodliffe of Washington state.
He is a 2007 graduate from Hope International University with a Bachelor's degree in Biblical studies.
The groom-elect has been accepted into the Los Angeles Police Department training academy.
The couple became engaged in September at the fountain in Orange Circle in the city of Orange.
After a romantic dinner the couple stood at a nearby fountain and the groom-elect had the bride-elect close her eyes and make a wish.
After she was surrounded by her friends and family, he proposed.
The couple will be married July 11 at Muckenthaler Mansion in Fullerton.
They will make their home in the Los Angeles area.
