Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita recently hosted nearly 1,400 kids from kindergarten through sixth grades for its vacation Bible school, themed "SonQuest Rainforest." It was the church's biggest vacation Bible school ever, according to Pastor Mike Gaston.

Several hundred youth and adult volunteers led the children through the week's lessons and activities.

The church also recently hosted a youth group "broomball" night for incoming high school students.
