Driver arrested after barely missing officer

A person was arrested for driving under the influence Sunday on the Northbound I-14 just north of Agua Dulce Canyon Road.
According to the Newhall California Highway Patrol office, the arrest was made after a CHP officer witnessed a collision on a routine traffic stop.
The vehicle driven by the person under the influence just missed the officer and careened into the patrol car, causing some damage.
