If you are looking for family fun this Friday and Saturday (Oct. 9 and Oct. 10), look no further than Castaic Lake Recreation Area, and the Castaic Days Outdoor Festival.

Friday events run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be live entertainment and music, food and arts and crafts vendors.

Among the activities available will be model float planes, a car show, a used book sale, a bass fishing clinic and a rock climbing wall ($2 per person charge).

Friday evening is Movie Night on the Lake, presenting "Monsters vs. Aliens" at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday the seventh annual Rubber Ducky Regatta is the featured event at 1 p.m., and proceeds benefit the Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers. There will also be hot air balloon rides on Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m. ($15 for adults, $12.50 for children).

There is no charge for admission to the festival, but there is an $11 per vehicle charge for parking.
