A golf classic originally scheduled for Monday at Robinson Ranch Golf Club has been postponed until spring 2010, the tournament coordinator said Thursday.

The J.R.’s Comedy Club Celebrity Golf Classic to benefit the Santa Clarita Valley Emergency Winter Shelter is on hold so that organizers can find more golfers to participate and increase enrollment, said David Hartmire, tournament coordinator.

Organizers hope the tournament will be ready for April or May 2010, he said.
