The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation will host a community festival at the Castaic Sports Complex Oct. 30 through Nov. 1.

The festival will feature carnival rides, free live entertainment, a Battle of the Bands contest, food booths, arts and crafts booths, a Farmer's Market and a car show.

Community heath organizations will be invited to provide information about healthy life choices and the benefits of active lifestyles.

The community festival runs from 3 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 30, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 31 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 1.
