In the 25 years since Six Flags Magic Mountain has been implementing toy drives, more than 500,000 toys have been collected for southland youngsters making it one of the most successful long-running holiday toy drive campaigns in the United States.
All toys collected during this year's four-day event will be distributed with the help of UPS to thousands of children through local charities including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern California.
"The demand for toys is greater than it's ever been as the number of underprivileged children in the Southland continues to grow," said Jay Thomas, park president of Magic Mountain. "We're calling for all Southern Californians to contribute to the toy drive and help make this holiday season brighter for children of all ages and backgrounds."
Free admission to Six Flags Magic Mountain with a toy donation includes unlimited use of the park's world-class roller coasters such as Terminator Salvation: TheRide, X2, Tatsu, Scream, Goliath, Colossus, Viper and many more.
Six Flags Magic Mountain is located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia 91355.
The theme park is open weekends and school holidays, including Nov. 25-29 and Dec. 12-Jan. 3 (except Christmas Day). The park is open on Toys for the Holidays weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
