There has been much discussion about healthcare reform in the past few months, with many people upset and afraid due to scare tactics and misleading information promoted by health insurance companies.

These companies don’t give a hoot about us as individuals. They are only concerned with the bottom line and making obscene profits.

Take a look at their exclusions and denials of coverage.  

I really appreciate the representatives who voted in favor of health care reform. I will remember who they are; and I will also remember the representatives who did not vote to pass health care reform. I hope that Kevin McCarthy will reconsider.

Since many Americans have lost insurance or are unable to continue paying for insurance due to being laid off or unemployed, health care reform is a necessity. Health care should be available to one and all.

Just because it doesn’t affect you right now doesn’t mean it won’t down the road. They thought the same thing in Germany in the 1930s.
