Firefighters are responding to a brush fire in Acton, officials said.

A brush fire of about 2 acres to 3 acres wide was reported near 8800 Soledad Canyon Road just after 3 p.m., said Los Angeles County Fire's supervising dispatcher Bryan Webb.

"The fire's in the brush moving uphill," Webb said.

No injuries or structure threats were reported, Webb said.
