Allan Cameron of Canyon Country has played Santa to thousands of pets during the nearly 20 years he has posed for pet portraits to benefit the Pet Assistance Foundation of the Santa Clarita Valley.

Cameron volunteers his time each holiday season to sit with just about any pet residents bring him.

"This is a wonderful organization that helps people who can't afford veterinary services including spay and neuter services," Cameron said. "There is no overhead. All the money raised goes 100 percent back into the community."

Pet photos begin at $10 for an 8x10 size. There are assorted photo packages and other sizes available. Cameron will be posing with pets 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Pet Supply, 26831 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus (NE corner of Bouquet and Seco Canyon Roads).

On Saturday, Dec. 5, Cameron will pose with pets 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pet Stop, 19154 Soledad Canyon Road, Canyon Country (located in the VONS center at the corner of Sand Canyon and Soledad Canyon Roads).
