A Newhall woman is due in court today after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend several times with a folding knife, authorities said.

Deputies arrested Odilia Tellez, 46, of Newhall, on Monday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in the 25000 block of Walnut Street, said Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Brenda Cambra.

Tellez allegedly stabbed her boyfriend four times in the hand and forearm on Thanksgiving afternoon before he fled to his Newhall home and his wife called deputies, Cambra said.

Deputies were not immediately able to locate Tellez and arrested her Monday after she turned herself in, Cambra said.
