Prosecutors chose Tuesday not to file charges against a Newhall woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend with a fold-up knife, officials said.
The case was dropped because of a lack of evidence against 46-year-old Odilia Tellez, said Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.
Tellez was arrested Monday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon for the incident that allegedly occurred on Thanksgiving Day, officials said.
