Santa Clarita Community College District trustee Joan MacGregor was sworn into her fifth term and trustee Michael Berger to his first term Wednesday night. The board also selected trustee Scott Wilk as board president for 2010. Trustee Michele Jenkins was elected to vice president and Berger as clerk.

Trustees and College of the Canyons leaders also congratulated Ernie Tichenor for his 12 years of service to the district.

The board also voted to change the meeting time for 2010 board meetings. Closed sessions will begin at 4:30 p.m. with open sessions scheduled for a 6 p.m. start time.
