Holocaust survivor speaks at forum tonight

Elaine Gellar, a Holocaust survivor who became one of the youngest survivors of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp during World War II, will share stories from her childhood and offer inspiration and insight into her personal experience in a special presentation Wednesday, Jan. 13 starting at 6 p.m. at the Rio Norte Junior High School auditorium.
Titled "Surviving the Unthinkable -- The Holocaust" and presented by the city of Santa Clarita, the event is part of the city's "A Season of Diversity" program and its Human Relations Forum.
The forum strives to promote understanding and appreciation of human differences while empowering community members to eliminate all forms of discrimination.
The public is invited and admission is free.
