The Santa Clarita Valley Emergency Winter Shelter extended its hours last week to offer a place for its clients to stay during the series of storms that passed through the SCV.

The shelter is open until March 15 and provides shelter, food, clothing and medical services, as well as other assistance and referrals, to SCV homeless and others in need.
