Sanitation District meeting rescheduled to June 2

The Santa Clarita Valley Sanitation District public meeting formerly set for Thursday, May 27 was rescheduled to Wednesday, June 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the Santa Clarita City Council Chambers.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, as a member of the Sanitation District Board, will attend.

Mayor Laurene Weste and Mayor Pro Tem Marsha McLean will also attend, representing the city as members of the Sanitation District Board.

The public meeting regarding a proposed Sanitation District rate increase and the handling of chlorides in the Santa Clara River is being held at the request of Mayor Weste, so that residents of the Santa Clarita Valley can have an opportunity to participate in a local meeting on the subject.

The Santa Clarita City Council Chambers are located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard, Santa Clarita 90350.
