A fire near the intersection of Anthony Road and Sierra Highway in Acton has forced the evacuation of a Los Angeles County fire camp but no other buildings are threatened, authorities said.

The fire has burned between 10 to 15 acres as of 3 p.m., said Fire Inspector Matt Levesque. About 200 firefighters are trying to contain the fire, which erupted at around 2:22 p.m., Levesque said.

A second fire in the Agua Dulce area is also burning, but Levesque had no details about that fire immediately available.

The California Highway Patrol has not closed any roads or freeways as of 3 p.m., a CHP spokeswoman said.
