The arraignment of accused car-jacker Styles Johnson was postponed to 8:30 a.m. June 12 at Santa Clarita Superior Court, Department 1.
Johnson faces charges of car-jacking, first-degree burglary person present, criminal threats, assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse and unlicensed driving, said District Attorney Spokeswoman Shiara Davila-Morales.
Johnson, 19, of Los Angeles, was arrested Friday after he allegedly pointed a paintball gun at a woman, who was driving her two teen children on Sandy Drive in Canyon Country, and robbed the mother of her car.
After a short pursuit on Highway 14, California Highway Patrol officers captured Johnson after he crashed into a median and tried to flee on foot.
