Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man and a woman who allegedly burglarized a home in Stevenson Ranch on Wednesday afternoon.
The suspects, whose names were not released, were taken into custody after deputies responded to a reported burglary in the 26000 block of Ohara Lane, said Los Angeles County sheriff’s Sgt. Brian Allen.
About 1:15 p.m., a woman walked into her home and saw a strange man inside. He ran out through the front door, Allen said.
Minutes later, deputies arrived and arrested a woman who may have been related to the crime, he said. They used a police dog to find the man about 4 p.m., hiding beneath a built-up barbecue in someone’s back yard, Allen said.
