Barbakow Tribute is fun night
The Zonta ladies certainly know how to stage a fun event! The 25th annual Zonta Club of SCV Tribute Dinner, honoring Dr. Alan Barbakow, D.D.S., as a "Man for All Seasons" was a great night of good food, entertainment and dancing. Does it get any better? Kudos to event co-chairwomen Cathie Kincheloe, Michele Mann and Peggy Edwards, for a spectacular evening.

Rescues on the Runway
Kudos to all the designers signed up to help homeless pets 5:30 p.m. Nov. 22 at the Hyatt Valencia for "Rescues on the Runway." Eugenia of Eugenia's designs in Canyon Country (which offers some of the most beautiful gowns to be found in the SCV, see for yourself at www.eugeniasdesigns.com), Amie Lindvall of Images by Amie (www.imagesbyamie.ewebsite.com  and Mul Tayoba will all be featured on the runway at the event to raise funds to save homeless pets. Christmas in the Country
This sounds like a fund afternoon! Christmas in the Country 4H fundraiser 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22 at Oak Creek Ranch, 27345 Sand Canyon Road, Canyon Country. Parents can shop at more than 20 craft, jewelry, candle, children's wear and food vendors. The little buckaroos can ride ponies, mingle with cuddly critters, make kid friendly crafts, watch dancing horse demonstrations,and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. $5 per person includes a free drink ticket.
