Members of the community are invited to tour the shelter the day before it opens, meet shelter staff, board members, friends of the shelter, and other local volunteers while helping to set up the shelter for the winter months to come.

Food and refreshments will be served, as will dinner.

- 33-gallon draw-string trash bags
- Latex gloves -- sizes medium and large
- Hand sanitizer (large size)
- Plastic utensils
- Coffee
- Toilet paper
- Cash

The Emergency Winter Shelter is located at 26301 Golden Valley Road, Santa Clarita 91351, just south of Centre Pointe Parkway and the Santa Clarita Sports Complex.
