Detectives are searching for a North Hollywood man who allegedly attacked another man with a hammer in a Canyon Country store earlier this week, officials said.
Christopher Wayne Arms, 26, is wanted by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station for questioning in the Wednesday incident at Big Lots on Soledad Canyon Road near Whites Canyon Road, said Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Darren Harris.
Deputies believe the suspect frequents the area around the intersection, Harris said.
Arms is described as a man with brown hair and green eyes who is about 5 feet, 11 inches and weighs about 175 pounds.
Deputies are advising any residents who know where Arms might be to immediately call 9-1-1 or the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station at (661) 255-1121.
