The teenage boy who was with former Golden Valley High School counselor Roselyn Hubbell when she was arrested last week was also arrested at the same time for possession of cocaine.

The boy, whose name was not released, is no longer in custody. Hubbell and the boy were apprehended June 10 while attempting to check into a hotel in the San Fernando Valley.

"I don't know the specifics, but he was released on a citation," said Sgt. Dan Scott of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Special Victim's Bureau.

Hubbell, 33, was arrested on felony charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child endangerment, and was released on $50,000 bond. She was under investigation for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old Golden Valley High student.

The former Golden Valley head counselor, who resigned last month, is one of five current or former William S. Hart Union High School District teachers, counselors or volunteers under investigation.

The Special Victim's Bureau had been investigating Hubbell for alleged improper relationships with two students.

"We had some information that she might be there (at the hotel), so we had some people there waiting to see if something occurred, and we made the arrest," sheriff's Lt. Art Lucas said last week. "Information came in, and we did some follow-up, and they found them at the hotel checking in."

Hubbell's case will be presented to the District Attorney's office within the next 30 days, Scott said.

"Information from the bureau's previous investigation will also be presented to the D.A. before her court date," he said.
