No arrests were made during a Friday night DUI checkpoint in Newhall, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The checkpoint was set up at the westbound side of Lyons Avenue just west of Avenida Dorena from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Each of the 704 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint were screened, according to the station.

Deputies pulled three vehicles off the line so that drivers could receive further testing. Zero arrests were made.

However deputies cited four drivers for driving without valid driver’s licenses. Their cars were impounded.
