College Women's Volleyball
COC 3, Citrus 0
The College of the Canyons women's volleyball team defeated Citrus College 25-17, 26-24, 25-19 Tuesday.
Lauren Wells had 13 kills to lead COC. Caitlyn Ramirez added 12 kills.
Brooklyn Arndt had 16 digs. Ashlie Arnold had 27 assists.
College of the Canyons (17-7, 9-1) plays Bakersfield at 7 p.m. at home on Tuesday.
Concordia 3, TMC 0
The Master's College women's volleyball team lost on Tuesday, dropping its record to 9-18 overall (3-16 in league).
Rachel Roleder had 13 digs and four kills and Tanya Bekendam recorded 13 digs and three kills.
JV Football
Canyon 50, Golden Valley 7
Canyon JV defeated Golden Valley 50-7 Friday.
Darius Rudolf took the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown Friday.
TJ Yonkers, Nick Diaz and Rudolf were all on the end of touchdown passes from Mark Kirkpatrick. Cowboys Brantley Williams and Chase Davis both scored.
