Cynthia and Melissa Conmay of Re/Max of Santa Clarita recently sponsored a neighborhood garage sale and collection to benefit the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry. Neighbors of the Stonecrest and Mountain View East tract of Canyon Country participated in the event.

"Everyone gave generously," said Cynthia Conmay. "On behalf of all of us it was a very successful day. We all had fun selling our ‘treasures' and spending time together."

Buyers flocked to the garage sale looking for bargains, Conmay said.

Among those who gave generously of their time to make the event a success were neighborhood residents Ian Pinero and Robert Wolfe who collected for the Food Pantry by going door-to-door.

"They donated their day to help," Conmay said. "We want to thank everyone who participated."
