Two men broke into a Saugus boarding house, taped up four residents and robbed a total of seven people who lived in the home at gunpoint, a sheriff's official said.

The two suspects entered the house in the 23000 block of La Granja Drive in Saugus before 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning, said Lt. Brenda Cambra of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station.

One of the suspects brandished a gun at four residents while his accomplice taped up four victims, Cambra said. The two suspects robbed the four taped-up victims plus three more residents, she said.

An unidentified victim broke loose from the tape during the robbery and managed to call sheriff's deputies during the robbery, Cambra said. The suspect discovered the woman calling the deputies and fled the scene, she said.

The suspects are still at large.

The suspects are described as two male Hispanics in their 40s with brown hair and brown eyes. One suspect stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. The second suspect stands 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds.

Anyone with information on this incident should contact the sheriff's station at (661) 255-1121.
