The city of Santa Clarita will host its third Extreme Neighborhood Makeover block party for Saugus residents from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Seco Canyon Road and Cavello Drive.
The block party is open only to Saugus neighbors in the area. City officials will set up booths at the event to provide information and services available to residents within the Saugus Extreme Neighborhood Makeover area.
Recent block parties in Canyon Country and Newhall are helping resolve neighborhood beautification and safety issues proactively.
The goal is to help maximize property values throughout the city's neighborhoods and determine the best ways to assist individual property owners with challenges they face in complying with the law.
