Santa Clarita Valley Appreciation Days 2008 will be held at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor on May 3 and 4. The Valencia theme park makes 4,000 tickets to Hurricane Harbor available to schools and non-profit organizations at $3 each, which the organizations sell to the public at $10 each.

This is still a significant savings over the regular admission price (up to $19.99 per person) - and serves as a fundraiser for these organizations.

Organizations currently selling these tickets to the public at $10 are: SCV Boys and Girls Club; Santa Clarita Community Center; Wiley Canyon PTA; Sky Blue Mesa PTA; Santa Clarita Elementary PTC; Placerita Junior High; Single Mothers Outreach; Canyon High School; Lutheran Social Services; High Desert Hawks Booster Club; Child and Family Center; Girl Scouts; Castaic Middle School; Michael Hoefflin Foundation; AYSO Region 677.

To purchase these specially priced tickets for use on May 3 or May 4, contact one of these organizations.

Organizations wishing to sell the discounted tickets should contact Bob White of the Sunrise Rotary Club at (661) 250-1023.
