Bank president/CEO nominated for Ernst & Young award
James Hicken, president and CEO of Bank of Santa Clarita, has been named as semi-finalist for the Ernst
& Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the greater Los Angeles area.

Semi-finalists were selected by an independent judging panel made up of regional business, academic and
community leaders.

Finalists will be announced in May with the winners revealed at a gala event on June 24 at the Beverly
Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills.

Real Deals on Home Decor to host open house
Newly-opened business Real Deals on Home Decor will be hosting an open house on May 8 and May 10 to celebrate Mother's Day.

The event will include drawings, food and other activities.

Shoppers who bring their mom or a photo of her will receive 15 percent off anything including furniture
and art.

Real Deal Home Decor is located at 21170 Centre Pointe Parkway, Suite 100 in Canyon Country.
