Just a reminder for my conservative brethren that without patriotic American liberals there wouldn't
have been freedom of the press, freedom of religion, the right to bear arms, the right to a fair trial by
jury facing one's accuser, an end to cruel and unusual punishment, the end of slavery, the women's right to vote, the end of child sweat-shop labor, the 40-hour work week, and come to think of it, a United States of America.

So the next time you have a cup of coffee, remember some of your liberal founding forefathers who threw a Tea Party in Boston Harbor for old tyrant King George, and remember the gifts they bequeathed upon you.
