To The Editor:

Thank you for the article on Carl Diekman. It's truly a shame that the Department of Veterans Affairs has so little respect for this man and is coming after him over $84.00 a month. The fact that they will not even take the time to explain the charges and offer to work with him is a travesty. The VA has had so much negative publicity over the years, and here they have a chance to right a wrong to a man who has served our country. Let's hope they do the right thing.
