Legendary Newhall bar and lounge kicks it - Kokomo style

The Vu Bar & Lounge has been a legendary Newhall venue ever since cowboy star William S. Hart used the frequent the building in the 1920s.

Now under the ownership of Kerry Malony and Louise Castaldo, the venue has incorporated some modern-day amenities, including "Let's Get Lei'd In July," which features island music, drinks and food each Saturday evening.

Part of the music was played by steel drummer Abby Savell, right.
