The hit Broadway musical "Grease" is the Santa Clarita Regional Theatre's latest offering at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons.

This audience-pleasing production opens Saturday night, July 26 with a sizzling "First Nighter's Club" pre-show party held at the home of Bill and Cathy Kennedy in the Woodlands Estates.

Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a catered buffet dinner, accompanied by fine wine (sponsored by the Loose Goose Wine Festival) after which First Nighter's Club guests will be seated in the Golden Circle for the opening night performance. There'll be "Summer Lovin'" for four weekends (through Aug. 17) as the high-spirited cast of this "fabulous fifties" musical "knocks your socks off!"

"Grease" features the popular, unforgettable musical numbers that make this the show to see for teenagers of all ages.

It's easy to see why this original "High School Musical" had an eight-year Broadway run, and why the music is a staple at parties across the country.

So take a trip down memory lane, back to 1959 at Rydell High and re-live the days of pajama parties, poodle skirts, bobby socks, school dances in the gym, the Burger Palace and the drive-in movie.
