The new half-hour daily version of "Deal or No Deal" will feature Santa Clarita resident Alex Shahin today at 3:30 p.m. on KNBC Channel 4.
Shahin is the lucky one of out 22 contestants who had a chance to play the game for the top prize of $500,000 after his number was selected by the wheel (only on the daily version) at the top of the show.
Shahin is a student who aspires to one day be a banker. He's also a ballroom and tango dancer on the side. If he wins the $500,000 he plans to move out of his parent's house and would like to use the rest of the money to earn a master's degree at the University of California, Berkeley.
