Hospital hosts blood drive

Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital is asking for volunteers willing to donate blood during its Pie for a Pint blood drive from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. Donors will receive a freshly baked pumpkin pie. The 12-hour blood drive will be held in the Henry Mayo/COC Clinical Education Center on the hospital's campus, 25727 McBean Parkway.

Organizers request blood donors eat a nutritious breakfast. Donors may register at www.henrymayo.com, or by calling (661) 253-8888.
