Debbie Carleton and Scott Peters, Newhall, were wed Jan. 1 at Christ Lutheran Church in Valencia.
The bride, a Santa Clarita Valley resident since 1991, is the daughter of Earl and Sandra Bull of Valencia. She was attended by her two daughters who served as bridesmaids, Rachel Carleton and Jill Carleton.
The groom was born and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Best Man was the groom’s son Tyler Peters.
The Rev. Joe Campeau presided over the ceremony. Organist was Roger Greene and Robin Hyland served as soloist.
A reception for 200 guests was held at the Christ Lutheran Church fellowship hall.
The bride is a 2008 graduate with a B.S. in Organizational Management, The groom is a 2007 graduate with a B.S. in Business Management. He is now the regional sales manager for the state of Wyoming with Anheuser-Busch.
The couple are planning honeymoon to Niagra Falls in September.
They will make their home in Cheyenne, Wy., for 18 months.
“We plan to return to the SCV because we love it,” said the couple.
