Eric Posthumus and Dana Coy
Jim and Carol Posthumus are pleased to announce the engagement of their son Eric Posthumus to Dana Coy.
The groom-elect is the brother of Julie, a teacher, and Jamie, a veterinarian. He is a 2001 graduate with honors from William S. Hart High School in Newhall. While at Hart, he pitched for Coach Ozella and Bud Murray, was on the CIF championship team and was first team all CIF for both his junior and senior years.
He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara on a baseball scholarship and is a 2005 graduate with a degree in biopsychology. He is now in graduate school at the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Bruce and Janice Coy. She is the sister of Julie, a junior at the University of California, Santa Barbara and Melissa, a sophomore in high school. She was born in Colorado Springs, Colo., but grew up in San Diego. She is a 2003 graduate with honors of Torrey Pines High School. She also attended the University of California, Santa Barbara.
She is a 2007 graduate of UCSB with a degree in law and society and is now in law school.
The couple met at the University of California, Santa Barbara and plan a July wedding in La Jolla.
They will make their home in Davis while they both finish graduate school.
