	Purim Party Purim is the Jewish holiday that celebrates Queen Esther's courage and commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people living in the ancient Persian empire from Haman's plot to annihilate them. Chabad of SCV was one of four local Jewish congregations to celebrate the holiday with festivals and parties. Activities included dancing and motorcycle tricks.
