Olympic Winter Games are flying in Ski Jumping, Ice Dancing, Slalom, Downhill, Biathlon, Hockey and Curling, Curling, Curling, the 2010 Winter Olympic Games will offer 17 days of drama and thrills on the slippery stuff in Vancouver - and NBC's coverage will show you quite a bit of it. Sadly, Curling does not appear on the broadcast schedule. But maybe there will be an "international incident" on the Curling ice that will draw the news cameras there. One can only hope. ... |

SCV Film Festival The fifth annual Santa Clarita Valley Film Festival will be held tonight, Saturday and Sunday at the Repertory East Playhouse in Old Town Newhall. This year the festival continues to focus on films appropriate for all ages, but will be showing feature-length films in addition to short films. The feature-length film competition is highly competitive, but accepted films will have the opportunity to be considered for distribution. |
