West Ranch High senior Jeff Coprich is on his second recruiting visit in as many weeks as he mulls his final college decision.

This week, he’s on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley, where the former running back and defensive back says he is being recruited as an athlete.

Coprich said he returned from an official visit last weekend at the University of Hawaii, which has made him an offer to play defensive back.

The senior played three seasons at the varsity level, two for Golden Valley High and his last one for West Ranch after he transferred.

In his senior year, the versatile athlete was named an All-Foothill League second teamer and an All-Santa Clarita Valley first teamer, amassing 1,246 yards and scoring 12 touchdowns while also breaking a single-game school rushing record by going off for 211 yards against Nordhoff on Sept. 2. He also carries a 3.5 GPA.

This isn't the first time he's received attention from a Pac-12 school.

A few weeks after the Nordhoff game, Coprich received a scholarship offer from the University of Colorado.
